Most leaders who come to me are not failing. They are succeeding — by every measurable standard — and something still does not feel right. The targets are green. The team is functioning. And yet there is a question that keeps surfacing, usually somewhere between midnight and four in the morning, that they have not been able to answer: why does this not feel like enough?

That question is not a weakness. It is information. And it is almost always the most important thing we work on.

What we do

Every 1:1 coaching trajectory begins with the Leadership Scan — a 15-minute online assessment that maps six dimensions: authentic leadership, energy and sustainability, psychological safety, team dynamics, leadership presence, and readiness for change. You see your results immediately. We use them as the starting point for everything that follows.

From there, we meet for six sessions of 90 minutes each, spread over three to four months. We work on what the scan surfaces, and what the scan surfaces is usually not what the person expected.

We look at the patterns that run automatically under pressure — the ego-patterns that got you here and are now quietly in the way. We look at what gives energy and what costs it. We look at the gap between who you are at your best and who you have been performing for the last few years. And we look at what changes when those two get closer together.

What this is not

This is not therapy. We do not go back unless going back is useful for going forward. It is not coaching in the motivational sense — no techniques for being more positive, no frameworks for better time management. And it is not consulting, which means I do not arrive with answers. I arrive with questions, a scan, and enough experience with high-performing leaders to know where to look.
